High Hopes Clubhouse

High Hopes Clubhouse is a vocational rehabilitation program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, utilizing the Clubhouse Model of Psychiatric Rehabilitation.

Philosophy

The Clubhouse is a place where members participate with dignity and respect. Members are wanted and needed by the Clubhouse Community. Members and staff work side by side.

Membership

High Hopes Clubhouse is a program for adults with mental illness providing employment, education, wellness, and social opportunities. Members have 4 guaranteed rights.

Clubhouse Employment Programs

A Transitional Employment (TE) job is a time-limited opportunity, usually 6-9 months in duration. Supported and Independent Employment options are also available.

Education

High Hopes Clubhouse offers an array of supports for educational efforts, assisting members with accessing GED programs, colleges, and other educational resources.

The Work Ordered Day is an in-house prevocational program with focus on members' strengths. Members and staff work side by side across Membership Services, Business/Employment, and Food Service units.

Wellness

High Hopes Clubhouse supports healthy lifestyles by offering all members and staff a full membership to Champions Fitness Club and weekly wellness activities.

Advisory Board

High Hopes Clubhouse has an independent Advisory Board that was established in 1997 when the Clubhouse was developed.
